I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long perfectly manicured fingernails. I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking the kids to scout camp. I want there to be a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived.

Pig Tails!!!!!

Yes, Cambree's hair has finally gotten long enough to put in pigtails! I love the little Pebbles Flintstone look! We've been doing them like this for a couple of weeks.

Today for church I tried two. Holy cow it turned out cute!

I love this Baby!!!!!

Camping at Rock Creek

We bought a new trailer this year for our big Yellowstone trip in July, so we decided to try it out. We went up to Rock Creek and had a blast! There were all kind of hiking trails and the kids seemed to have so much fun!

Cambree riding on Daddy's shoulder's! Too cute!

Most of the pictures I got were of Tyson and Brennen, because Bruce took Aubree and Kaden and hiked from the Dam back down to our campground, about 4 1/2 miles. They did so good and I am so proud of them for accomplishing something so hard. I took the 3 other kids and played in the creek for a while when they were gone.

Summer Fun

I'm trying to be a good mom this year and do something "fun" with my kids every day. Most of the time it has just been stuff like going to the pool or the library, or getting out the slip and slide. I need to do better at taking pictures though. We did go over to Vernal to the Dinosaur museum. We happened to go on the day they were redoing the coat on the Mammoth which was pretty cool. Also, when we were at the gift shop, Kaden got to meet the head Paleontologist, which is like Rock Star status to him. I thought it was neat that he took the time to talk to Kaden and answer some of his questions.

This is our Flag Day craft that we made. They turned out pretty cute and the kids had a ton of fun making them.

Crazy Brennen

Here are some pictures of the crazy antics of our little guy!

In March we went to Disney on Ice. This kid has Mickey Mouse Mania, so he was so excited to see this!

His babysitter went to Disney Land in Febuary and brought him back some Mickey Mouse Ears. He LOVES them! This is him not even wanting to take them off for bedtime!

One night he put my pot holders on his feet and told me they were his slippers.

He went with me when I took my preschool to the fire station and had a ball. Every time we drive by he lets me know, "Mama, there's the fire station!" He thought he was pretty cool wearing the helmet!
